Why I Chose Dog Training
As a long time pet owner and animal lover, I was drawn to pet sitting, which I've done for over 10 years. It was very rewarding, however, I was saddening by the fact that many dogs were given up due to behavioral problems.  These "problems" could have easily been corrected or prevented with training and a little knowledge of canine behavior. Through studies at the Animal Behavior College, I became a certified pet dog trainer.  I have partnered with Lori Fenner at the SPCA Cincinnati for several years, helping dogs get a second chance. It would be a privilege to be able to share my knowledge with you and your dog so you are able to have the special relationship that every dog owner should experience.

As you can see, I am the proud Dog mom of 2 wonderful dogs.
Coco, a fourteen year old Hound mix and Dash, a three year old Yellow Labrador Retriever.

When I rescued Coco in Orlando, FL in 1996, I was lucky to find a trainer who used only positive methods of training. From the beginning, it created a loving bond between Coco and I, which developed into a lifetime of mutual respect and trust.

As a trainer, Dash has become my training companion and "example setter" for my classes. He's not perfect by any means and has lots to learn, but together we teach each other patience and understanding.
